Moneca and Randall met 17 years ago, but there weren’t exactly sparks flying during their first encounter. Randall was an employee at Sprint when Moneca came in to get help with her phone. “I was immediately attracted to him,” she recalls.

Engagement Session: Genene and Janell
How did you all meet?
We met in August 2014 at North Carolina A&T State University in graduate school. Janell and I were both seated in an overcrowded class. The professor called the roll and advised, “if I did not call your name, you have been moved to the other section of this class”. Janell and I were two out of four students moved into the other class. Little did we know, we would be in four out of six classes together our first year of graduate school.

The most unique element of our wedding day was our bridal party entrance dances. Each couple selected a different song to enter into the reception and created their own dance. Things went off without a hitch and we had the most amazing time with our close family and friends. Everything was perfect! ~ Shakia
